SSLv3 Disabled for All Sites

23 December 2014 - 11:39 PM

Effective immediately, LiquidPlex has disabled the use of SSLv3 Protocol on all hosted websites, shared and reseller. This change has been made to mitigate the vulnerabilities from the high profile POODLE attack which affects SSLv3 connections.

Please see the following URL for more info on POODLE: https://www.us-cert....lerts/TA14-290A

We do not expect any negative effects from this change as all modern browsers support the use of TLSv1 or higher, which has superseded SSLv3 for over a decade. SSLv3 has only been used for legacy support.

If you have any questions or issue after this change, please submit a support case through the Customer Portal.

Thank you!
